Sustainable Reopening Project
Sustainable and Social Hotels Post-Lockdown
Hotels are searching for reopening soluions that are cost-effective, sanitary, guest-friendly, and sustainable.
That's why we're working with 4 hotels: QO, Meininger, Stayokay and The Student Hotel to test and iterate better solutions for their spaces. We'll test solutions that keep sustainability and social priorities at the top of hotel agendas. The lessons learned from July to September 2020 will be shared with the broader hotel community to move the sector forward.

Reopening Project
Challenges we're helping hotels with
Rethinking Shared spaces
Managing shared spaces right now like toilets, lobbies and restaurants requires creativity, technology and the right messaging.
Alternatives to single-use items
Since COVID-19, hotels and their restaurants have been forced to switch from reusable items to takeaway options and more single-use items.
Behavioral messaging
Generating messaging that has a strong foundation in behavioral theories to motivate guest behavior is key right now.
Understanding guest expectations
Hotels can be unsure of what guests expect from them - so we measure guest expectations to allow them to make informed decisions.
